I got to go inside & get a sneak peek!

On the way down to Anchorage to hang out with Poppa.  As he was mid-procedure,  I swung by the house to take some pictures of the carpet through the window.  In a very happy coincidence, the lady who does some of the construction cleaning was there & let me in to walk through & take some pictures. So, voila!

I'm SO EXCITED!!!!

Color!!!

Eek!  It is getting so close!!!  We won't be able to go inside until the 8th, but we still enjoy peeking through the windows.  The carpet will start going in on Monday & there are a few fixtures here & there, plus they need to stain the floor of the porch & the back porch.  Still, that's not much!!!

I don't have pictures of the washer & dryer, (we didn't decide on them until driving away) but they're pretty awesome as well.  The laundry room of my dreams, lol!!!

I love this.  The white really pops against the blue & the blue is dark enough to be a great neutral!

I can already picture the riotous colors of peonies in front of the porch!

Quick trip

We weren't supposed to go to south this weekend, but some other issues came up & a trip was necessary.  Since we weren't going because of the house, we just did a quick drive-by.  The house is locked up tight now, so there are only pictures through the windows.  This is what we could see & a couple couch pictures...

Mom & Dad made the weekly trip out to the house tonight & even met some of our new neighbors!  The house across & a bit down from us has been constructed at the same time & they will be the owners. Mom said they were very nice.
Anyway, the paint is up, the crown molding is up & the electrical trim is installed.  Still on the to-do list is cabinets, flooring, appliances, toilets & plumbing fixtures!!
I really just CAN'T wait!!!!
